Well I have been waiting for over a year to photograph this wedding.  I met Jarred and Allysen when they came out to my farm for their engagement photos and I loved them right away.  They were obviously very much in love and willing to go anywhere or do what ever I asked for their photos.  Plus Allysen rocked these amazing purple heals out in the pasture, lol. So of course I was looking forward to their wedding day and they absolutely did not disappoint.  On top of that, they had the sweetest families and wedding party.  I know I say it all the time, but I truly am so lucky to be doing what I love and to work with such great people.  Jarred and Allysen are such a great, loving and very hard working couple.  On top of that all, they looked so fantastic on their wedding day and I am totally in love with Allysen's dress.  It was so unique.  Modern yet vintage.  LOVE IT!  Thanks again you guys for allowing me to capture your special day.  It truly was a blast.  I know this is a super long post but I am having such a hard time deciding on images.  Enjoy!

Sensational photos Sharon! Allysen is my only child and I can not describe the pure joy I feel when I view the photos. I can only say "Thank You" from the bottom of my heart for all that you did for us that day. Thank you for all that you have done to capture this very special day for Allysen and Jarred. I can hardly wait to see the rest of the photos.

Recently I had the pleasure to spend the morning with the "Y" family.  They are such nice people and I totally fell for their kids.  For 2 and 5 years old, they were so well behaved.  Really, I could have taken them home, lol.  Doing family photos with kids that age can be interesting but once you realize who's in charge (the kids) it all goes well.  Just let them do their thing and capture it.  Thanks again so much Kirk, Sandra and Grama.  Here's just a few images from the day. Hope you like them :)

I would just like to see inside his mind for 5 minutes.  :)  Little boys have the best imaginations.  I think this one's totally ready for the Boy Scouts.

This past weekend I had the honor of shooting the wedding of Heather and Jarret.  I have been booked for this wedding for such a long time and hadn't had a chance to meet the bride and groom yet.  I had no idea what lovely people I was about to work with.  Heather and Jarret are both such sweet and loving people.  Sorry Jarret for calling you sweet, lol, but you are.  They are both so truly in love and their families were obviously very moved during their ceremony.  As usual the wedding party was FAB!  I don't know how I get so lucky to have such great people to work with.  I really do have the best job.  As a side note, the bride got ready at the very chic Salon Fli.  What a cool salon and the stylists there are awesome.  Heather looked even more lovely when she left than when she arrived.  Well, thanks again Heather and Jarret for allowing me to share in your special day.  I truly wish you both all the best in your new life together.  Here's just a small selection of photos from your day!  Enjoy!

Well this blog post is a little late since I have been in the middle of a big move.  It's also partially late because this couple rocked their photos so well, its been almost impossible to choose just a few, so get ready for a long post.  I met with Janelle and Michael over a year ago to book their wedding and have been looking forward to it ever since.  They are beautiful people, inside and out.  So are their friends and families.  We had a blast.  Thanks everyone.  I would just like to add that the girls had all their hair and makeup done at this wonderful shop called Indira Salon and Spa.  Be sure to check them out.  They were such a great bunch of girls and did great work.  Also, while at the spa, Michael had a special gift delivered to Janelle.  You will see a few photos of these amazing cupcakes that honestly looked too beautiful to eat.  They are also just as delicious as they are beautiful and they came from the wonderful Koko Patisserie on Broad St in Regina.  If you are looking for some extra special, unforgettable treats, Koko is definitely the place to go so be sure to check them out.  Thanks again Michael, Janelle and family for being so great to work with.  Congratulations and all the best in your wonderful new life together.

Well I don't know about the rest of you, but I have had about enough of the thunder, lightning, rain and power outages!  I don't think I have ever seen this much rain since I moved to the prairies back in 1981.  Wow, am I getting old....or sounding old, lol.  Anyway, tonight, in between rain showers, I got to shoot grad photos for my nephew Matt.  I can't believe he's graduating already.  It seems like just yesterday he was just a little gaffer that always had a wet mark on his t-shirts cause he would chew on the collar, lol.  Sorry Matt, but that's what I remember and I have a lot of photos of you like that.  Thankfully it stopped raining for a bit so we could get your pix done tonight and you showed up in a very styling tux.....without the chewed on collar, ha ha.
Matt had my lovely neighbor Trisha as his escort and she's always up for a photo shoot.  They are both so photogenique that it made my job pretty easy.  Congrats on your graduation Matt.  Your whole family is very proud of you.  Hugs. :)
