This Saturday I had the great honor of shooting the wedding of Kelsey & Davis. These two are such an amazing couple. I have been sitting and thinking about all the things that I could say about them. The list is a mile long. So all I will say is that these two are kind, compassionate, intelligent, extremely talented and so obviously very much in love. Also, their wedding party was absolutely fabulous and their families, who I've known for a long time, could not have been any nicer or more accommodating. As I said, it was truly an honor to play a part in their special day. We had rain almost all day, but no one complained and we all did what we had to, to capture these special moments of their day. I hope you enjoy them.
I found this gem of a cross stitch hidden away at the brides parents home. Doug was nice enough to hang it for me just where I wanted it. Can you believe that? Awesome people.

For these detail shots we pulled out some family heirlooms. Grama's tea cups and grampas passport that was so cool.
The garters on the family piano that Kelsey spent many years practicing on.
Kelsey's Christening Gown.
Again the most amazing bouquets from Jane and Kristin at Flowers on Main in Melville. They always do the most amazing work and I absolutely loved these Hydrangeas and White Roses. So beautiful!

Love the brides shoes on Grama's special chair.

Something old. Grama's family ring tied to the bouquet.

The rain stopped and the sun came out for literally 10 minutes and we were able to capture these few shots. Love the Abbey Road shot. Great work guys!!

Now on to the reception!! Here's a couple of shots.

Okay I know there are quite a few bridal shots here but are you kidding me, she's so amazingly beautiful.

I absolutely adore these mother/daughter and father/daughter shots. Its so clear what a great relationship they all have.

This was a very touching wedding and this was the first time I cried during the day, lol. Dad giving away his baby girl.

When I heard that "Uncle Paul" was giving one of the readings I was a little nervous since he was the wildest and craziest MC at the last Kuntz wedding 3 weeks ago. However, he proved he is a true professional and can also pull of a heartfelt speach as well. Way to go Paul.
The very happy groom.
I love the look on Kelsey's face. So happy.
Mr & Mrs!!

Going for a little vintage yet modern feel. Love it.
Are you kidding me.

Now for a quick trip to the Kuntz family farm for a few more shots before the reception. The bride had requested a few different shots as her new mother in law had worked so very hard on the yard. Great job Janie. You can come work in my yard any time.

Now on to the reception!! Here's a couple of shots.

Now on to the most unique thing ever. Before the wedding the bride let me in on a little secret plan she had been working on for months. Davis is a drummer, so as a special surprise, she learned how to play a song on the drums. She was taught by their friends and awesome band "Tangle Box" out of Brandon, MB and she totally rocked it. I will end with these last few shots. Davis was totally surprised and pretty proud. Gosh I sure love my brides. They always rock and this one did, literally!!! Great job Kelsey!!
