A few weeks ago I traveled into Manitoba for the wonderful wedding of Candice and Rydell.  I was really looking forward to meeting them but felt like I already knew them a bit as Candice was nice enough to email me a bit about their life and how they got to be where they are now.  It really helps in taking images for people when you know their likes, dislikes, hobbies, careers, etc.  Anyway, it was a fabulous day with an absolutely amazing location out on a friends family farm that just happened to have an amazing antique car to use for photos and then he even drove them to the reception.  Thank you so much Candice and Rydell for being so great to work with, as well as your parents and bridal party.  EVERYONE was just fabulous.  I'm glad your day went perfectly and I wish you both every happiness in the years to come.  Here's a small selection of images from your day.  I hope your and your family and friends enjoy them.

Val says:

I do not personally know this couple; however, I can't help but comment on this and I just have to say ..... the bride's gown is the most beautiful dress I HAVE EVER SEEN and she looks absolutely stunning in it !!! You did an awesome photography job once again, Sharon, in high-lighting all the beautiful aspects of it and their day !! Bravo to you !

Candice Cook says:

I first want to thank Val for such a sweet and sincere compliment. As well, I want to take the time to publicly reiterate what I have said again and again via email and phone...Thank you Sharon for being the best photographer a bride could ask for. I have to agree with Jill, one of your previous brides, that stated you are more than a photographer. You were so helpful and made our time before and after the ceremony so much fun. I am soo overjoyed at the pictures and can't wait to see them all. I wish you nothing but good things.

While I was not at Candace's wedding, our mother's have been close friends forever, and I was forwarded the link to this album, because I desperately wanted to see how beautiful she must have looked on her special day. Well, Candace - you were absolutely breathtaking my dear. I loved your dress - I know that maggie sotero dress well, my best friend almost bought it for her wedding. The photos that were taken are so classic, you look very happy and in love. COngrats and great pics!

This past weekend I got to shoot a wedding that I have been waiting a long time to shoot.  Probably since my nephew Michael first introduced us to Jenn years ago.  Our entire family instantly fell for her, right along with Michael lol.  Seriously, we could not have picked a better bride, wife and best friend for Michael and we are absolutely honored to welcome her and her family into ours.  I have another nephew, right Philip ;).  Anyway, this past weekend was perfect.  The weather was great, the day ran smoothly and there were tons of "tears of joy".  I still tear up when I think about it.  So in closing I just want to say congratulations Michael and Jenn.  I know that you have a long and incredibly life ahead and can't wait to see the beautiful babies you guys make....one day :)  Love you both!

Last fall I had the extreme pleasure of shooting the wedding of Mandy and Dave Kozak. They were the most wonderful Bride and Groom and I love every time I run into them. Their wedding has recently been shared on the Wedding Bells website. How exciting. Its entitled "Family Ties". Take a look.

Here's a selection of images from their day.

Just over a week ago I had the great pleasure to kick off the summer wedding season with Tim and Chantelle.  I must say I had such a great time at this wedding.  They are so in love and there were so many tears of joy throughout the whole day.  That's how a wedding should be.  Thanks Tim and Chantelle for letting me share in that with you and your amazing family and friends.
I know you have an extremely happy future a head of you. :)

The week before Christmas I shot the long awaited of Jeremy and Whitney.  Long awaited as I have had it booked for a few years now, lol.  This was a local wedding and local weddings are so special.  I have known Jeremy and Whitney for a long time.  Actually I have know Whitney since she was born.  It seems so crazy that I am now shooting the weddings of my friends children.  Well this wedding was a blast.  It was definitely filled with love and happiness that you can definitely see in the photos.  Sorry in the delay in getting this post up over the holidays guys.
Enjoy your images!
IMG_8980.jpgWith the wedding being held one week before Christmas, could you think of a better place to do the ring shots?

IMG_8982.jpg
IMG_8989.jpgMore beautiful bouquets from Jane and Kristin and Flowers on Main in Melville.  They always do the most beautiful work!!

IMG_8992.jpg
IMG_8998.jpg
IMG_9011.jpg
The Wedding Boots.  How awesome (and warm) are these!!

IMG_9019.jpgThese pearls belong to Grama Lutz.  She wore them to her own wedding, then the brides mother wore them when she got married and now passed them down to Whitney.  I love special traditions.

IMG_9025b.jpg
IMG_9034.jpg
Waiting to be worn.....

IMG_9038.jpgThis is the first image that shows what a hockey family this is.  This image is especially for the brides father and brother....The biggest Detroit fans I know!

IMG_9046.jpgAnother special keepsake.  This ring box was made by Grama Lutz for for the brides mother Leanne.  I thought it would be a great place for another ring shot.

IMG_9047.jpgAs happy an occasion as this was, it was also a little bitter sweet as Grampa Clarence was not there to share in it.  This is Grampa's ring which you will see tied into the brides dress later on.  Clarence was such a wonderful guy and the life of the party.  I know that he was there, watching out over his very special Grand daughter.

IMG_9055.jpgGetting ready!  Thank goodness for great friends like Morgan Cyca.  She did all of the hair and the brides nails for the wedding.  Awesome job Morgan!

IMG_9062.jpgThe makeup was done by Chris Miller from Mary Kay in Regina.  What a nice treat to have someone come to the home to do makeup for everyone.  I love when that happens.  If you are looking for a great makeup artist, make sure you check her out!

IMG_9064b.jpgOMG Whitney.  You are gorgeous!

IMG_9086.jpgI was not surprised to see this lying around.  Whitney is one of the most organized people I know.  She comes by it honestly as her mom IS the most organized person I know, lol.

IMG_9091.jpgJeremy sent a very lovely letter for Whitney to read as she was getting ready.  It was a tough job to keep those tears at bay and not ruin the lovely makeup.

IMG_9104.jpgA special something blue from Grama Lutz.

IMG_9118.jpgWhitney's dress was so beautiful and it was from Tracey's on Broadway in Yorkton.  Talk about extra special service.....Tracey came out to lace up all of the girls dresses.

IMG_9125.jpgBeautiful bride in her beautiful pink striped socks, lol?  Hey, in Saskatchewan you need to prepare yourself for a winter wedding!!

IMG_9136.jpgGrama Lutz passing down the pearls.

IMG_9139.jpg
IMG_9156.jpgOn the way to the church.  The girls were nice and warm in their fur trimmed capes.

IMG_9171.jpgRight before we left for the church, we took 5 minutes to snap this photo.  This special play house was Grama Lutz's when she was a little girl.  A special request of the bride.

IMG_9181.jpgThe guys!!!  Everyone is ready to go!

IMG_9198.jpgA quick huddle and now we are really ready to go, lol!

IMG_9241.jpgFirst time seeing the bride.  Wow!

IMG_9247.jpgHere comes the bride.

IMG_9249.jpgGiving the bride away.

IMG_9258.jpgThe ceremony was held in the Lutheran Church in Lemberg.  Its so pretty and has great light.  I love all of the white!!

IMG_9299.jpgThe bride and her sister are both singers.  Shelby sang a special song just for Whitney and Jeremy.

IMG_9294.jpg
IMG_9308.jpg
IMG_9325.jpg
IMG_9374.jpg
Like I said earlier.....happy, happy, happy.

IMG_9431.jpgHappy tears!

IMG_9436.jpgA special surprise from Minister and friend PK.  The groom is a huge Toronto fan, so right before "The Kiss" PK changed into something special just for Jeremy, lol.

IMG_9445.jpgHappy!

IMG_9457.jpg
Happy!

IMG_9528.jpgOne quick group shot before we head to the studio for more photos.

IMG_9539-2.jpgAfter the wedding it was back to the studio, but first, about 15 minutes for some quick outdoor shots while there was still a bit of light.

IMG_9556.jpg
IMG_9573.jpg
IMG_9601su.jpg
IMG_9556b.jpg
IMG_9775.jpg
A few bridal shots.  Whitney, you have always been such a gorgeous girl.

IMG_9754cc.jpg
IMG_9789b2.jpg
Love these two shots.

IMG_9789ccsg.jpg
IMG_9780.jpg
Okay, I've got to say that Jeremy was looking pretty handsome himself!!

IMG_9820b.jpg
IMG_9822.jpg
IMG_9826.jpg
Love this shot so much that I had to post both versions of it.

IMG_9826b.jpg
IMG_9891b.jpg
True hockey players, through and through.

IMG_9905.jpgA quick fun shot before we head to the hall.  Aren't these hats a great idea from groomsman gifts?  Hmmm....with all those different teams, how do they all get along, lol.

IMG_0225.jpgTheir big entrance to the reception!

IMG_0271b.jpgThe first dance.

IMG_0281.jpgAnd to end this post, a special moment caught between husband and wife.  I love those moments.  All the best to you Whitney and Jeremy in your new married life together.  I know you will be oh so happy!!!!

I have had so many people inquire about booking me for July 24, 2010 and had to turn them done because I was already booked.  Unfortunately, sometimes things happen and I have had a couple call of their wedding so this date is now available.  If you are still looking for a photographer for this date, please contact me ASAP before it books up again. And just because a blog post is always better with a photo, here's one of my favorites from this fall.

This past weekend was a busy one with Mandy and Dave's wedding on Saturday and Bridal Fair on Sunday.  Needless to say by the time it was all done my poor feet were pretty sore, lol.  But Saturday was a great day and Mandy & Dave were awesome to work with.  So was their wedding party and family.  I always have to laugh at the end of the day when the wedding party is saying "Thanks for putting up with us" and I am thinking "Weren't they awesome and a blast to work with".  I am very fortunate to have such great clients and do something that I absolutely love.  Mandy and Dave, I hope you guys are having a wonderful honeymoon and thanks again for everything.  Here's a selection of images from your day.

This past weekend was a busy one with a full days wedding on Saturday and Bridal Fair at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina on Sunday.  I think this is my 4th year going and therefore the 4th year that my good friend Sherry has helped me out.  We definitely are more organized now than that first year, lol.  Thanks again Sherry.  You always make work fun!  Here's a shot Rory took of my booth.  Sorry if the resolution is not the best but I don't know what his little point and shoot camera was set on.  You'd think the photographer would have checked but I was kind of busy, ha ha.

Last weekend I had the total honor to work with Troy and Kim on their wedding day.  Wow, what can I say about these two kids. I am totally smitten with them.  They are so kind and sincere.  Their love for each other is so obvious.  It just pours out of them.  They already are such gorgeous people on the outside but even more beautiful on the inside.  They have a true love for their family, friends and definitely their faith.  That was apparent at their beautiful service at the Ebenezer Baptist Church which was officiated by their dear friend, Laurence Johnstone who came all the way from Daysland, Alberta.  How wonderful is it to be married by a friend.  It makes the service so special.  Also, to add to an already wonderful wedding, Troy is in the Air Force so they had the Honor Guard their as well. I felt so old being called "Maam" all the time but they assured me it was just good manners and that I wasn't that old, lol. I think that last statement was actually the good manners part, lol.  Because Troy is a Pilot, we had the opportunity to go out to the Yorkton Airport to shoot the last of the shots.  Wow, an old hanger, planes and a helicopter.  I was like a kid in a candy shop.  I think everyone thought it was pretty funny how excited I was.  So, without further delay, here's some images from the day.  Kim and Troy, I hope you guys enjoy all of lifes blessings and make sure you keep in touch once you are in your new post in Newfoundland.  Be safe.

I love this last silouette shot with them and the helicopter.  It definitely tells their story!

On Saturday I headed to Whitewood to shoot the wedding of Mitsy & Pat.  I have been looking forward to this wedding all summer because I knew the whole thing was going to be outside in her sisters & brother-in-laws beautiful yard.  I was definitely not disappointed.  The yard looked amazing and so did the barn which is where the reception was held.  The bride and groom were married under this beautiful big elm tree and the light was just gorgeous.  We couldn't have asked for a better day.  Thanks again to the McCaw and Rushton families for being so welcoming and for the great wedding party that was so helpful.  You guys rock.  A special thanks to Mitsy and Pat for being so wonderful to work with.  You guys are such a great couple and I know you will have many years of happiness ahead.

This Saturday I had the great honor of shooting the wedding of Kelsey & Davis.  These two are such an amazing couple.  I have been sitting and thinking about all the things that I could say about them.  The list is a mile long.  So all I will say is that these two are kind, compassionate, intelligent, extremely talented and so obviously very much in love.  Also, their wedding party was absolutely fabulous and their families, who I've known for a long time, could not have been any nicer or more accommodating.  As I said, it was truly an honor to play a part in their special day.  We had rain almost all day, but no one complained and we all did what we had to, to capture these special moments of their day.  I hope you enjoy them.

IMG_5316.jpgI found this gem of a cross stitch hidden away at the brides parents home.  Doug was nice enough to hang it for me just where I wanted it.  Can you believe that?  Awesome people.

IMG_5326.jpg

IMG_5353.jpgFor these detail shots we pulled out some family heirlooms.  Grama's tea cups and grampas passport that was so cool.

IMG_5366.jpgThe garters on the family piano that Kelsey spent many years practicing on.

IMG_5379.jpgKelsey's Christening Gown.

IMG_5383.jpgAgain the most amazing bouquets from Jane and Kristin at Flowers on Main in Melville.  They always do the most amazing work and I absolutely loved these Hydrangeas and White Roses.  So beautiful!

When I heard that "Uncle Paul" was giving one of the readings I was a little nervous since he was the wildest and craziest MC at the last Kuntz wedding 3 weeks ago.  However, he proved he is a true professional and can also pull of a heartfelt speach as well.  Way to go Paul.

Now for a quick trip to the Kuntz family farm for a few more shots before the reception.  The bride had requested a few different shots as her new mother in law had worked so very hard on the yard.  Great job Janie.  You can come work in my yard any time.

Now on to the most unique thing ever.  Before the wedding the bride let me in on a little secret plan she had been working on for months.  Davis is a drummer, so as a special surprise, she learned how to play a song on the drums.  She was taught by their friends and awesome band "Tangle Box" out of Brandon, MB and she totally rocked it.  I will end with these last few shots.  Davis was totally surprised and pretty proud.  Gosh I sure love my brides.  They always rock and this one did, literally!!!  Great job Kelsey!!

Sorry for the delay in this post.  I thought I would have it done last night but it seems the technology God's have not been in my favor lately.  But things are back on track so here we go.  In order to speed up this process I will not be slipping in all of those witty remarks of mine in between the photos.  I think they are witty anyway, lol.  I will start off by telling you that this year I have had so many wonderfully relaxed and laid back brides and grooms but I think Kristin and Scott take the cake.  They were so laid back and their entire wedding took on that feel.  It was held in the beautiful backyard of their own home which was very tentative for a while with the rainy weather we have had lately.  But of coarse, everyone's prayers were answered and the day was absolutely beautiful.  Now, speaking of beautiful, lets talk about the flowers.  In case you don't know, Kristin and her mom Jane run "Flowers on Main" in Melville which I have mentioned in a number of my posts this year.  I have especially been looking forward to this wedding because I felt the flowers would be amazing and Jane, Kristin and staff did not disappoint.  There were 6 bridesmaids and everyone had an entirely different bouquet!!  Why not.  And they were stunning.  So if you are looking for beautiful flowers for your wedding they are definitely the gals to go see.  I know next weekends wedding has them booked so I can expect more gorgeousness at that wedding as well.  Anyway, back to the wedding.  To try to make this a bit more short and sweet all I can say is beautiful wedding, beautiful friends and family.  Everyone was so great to work with and the groomsmen even put up with my playful (but loving) nicknames, lol.  Thanks so much Kristin & Scott for allowing me to take part in your day.  It was a great one!!! Here are a selection of your images. I know there is way too many but I just can't pick and choose.  I love them all

The last shot of the day goes to this little rocker because he worked so hard all night he deserves his few minutes of fame.  I don't think he missed a song.  He really looked like part of the band.  I also wanted to send out a thank you to Trevor & Linda Senyk for the use of their farm for photos.  I have shot there in the past and LOVE it.  Also a thank you to Ray & Coreen Malinoski for the use of their beautiful brick fence that was covered in Virginia Creeper.  Thanks again everyone!!

The first wedding of this past weekend was Tyler & Cindy's in Grenfell and we had a blast.  The wedding party was so great to work with.  Even Dale, lol.  Their ceremony was in the beautiful but creaky United Church in Grenfell.  Every step I took creaked.  But its definitely such a pretty church.  Then we all made the trek back to my place and shot in my pasture around my new "old" truck.  Thanks guys for doing what ever I asked.  You were great to work with.  I hope you have a fantastic honeymoon!

IMG_1820.jpgGettin ready.  Wow, how pretty is she and they were just starting makeup!?!

IMG_1956.jpgThe men just before the ceremony.  What a good looking bunch!

IMG_1961.jpgOkay this next shot is just for fun.  Its obvious my photoshoping skills are not good enough for me to work for the National Enquirer but I thought I'd whip up something a little cute for the groom.  It seems he was a big "Backstreet Boys" fan back in the day.  Actually I think he still is because as he entered the church, he walked in to one of their songs.  So here's a little something just for you Tyler.  You definitely had the Backstreet Boys watching out for you on your wedding day, lol.

IMG_1981.jpgI think Tyler was stunned to see Cindy when she walked in.

This past weekend I had the privilege of shooting Jay & Sandra's wedding.  This was my second wedding of the weekend.  I have worked with Jay & Sandra before when I shot their engagement photos last fall.  One thing that I can tell you about them and their families is that they are truly genuine people.  Everyone was so nice and fun to work with.  I truly wish you guys every happiness in life.  Here are just a few images from your day.  Enjoy.

IMG_2884.jpgThis first shot is of Sandra's beautiful dress.  It's extra amazing as the seamstress had to take it in "10 inches"!!  I don't know how she did it but Sandra lost quite a bit of weight before her wedding day.  She was gorgeous before that and still gorgeous afterwards.  In the front of the dress is a red bench built by Sandra's dad.  Every time I have been to their place, there was always a new pile of lumber and another project on the go.  He's super talented.  I will be emailing you soon Ken to put in my order.

IMG_2886.jpgThe bride enjoying some pampering!  She always has the sweetest smile on her face.
IMG_2857.jpgHere are a few different ring shots.  Couldn't make up my mind so I am posting quite a few.

IMG_2863.jpgThis was the lid for the bottle that they were using for their sand ceremony.  I thought it had such a cool shape.  Looks like one of those "crazy hat" shaped cakes.

IMG_2899.jpgThanks to bridesmaid "Janelle" for being the steady hand that helped out with this shot.  This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've worked with Janelle and you can always count on her to lend a helping hand.

IMG_2922.jpgI hung Sandra's earrings and bracelet on this beautiful antique piece that I found in the china cabinet.  It belonged to Sandra's Grama.  I thought it had such a great vintage feel to it and I always love to incorporate meaningful things into the images.
IMG_2898.jpgSandra and her girls had the greatest shoes. All coordinating.  You know I love a great shoe shot.
IMG_2989.jpgI was teasing the little flower girl that she had a "pussy cat smile".  Isn't she just adorable.  She is going to be so beautiful when she is older.  Seriously, look at those eyes and the Angelina Jolie lips.  Gorgeous.  Sandra was actually the flower girl for this little one's mom and dad, so the tradition continues.

IMG_3059.jpgSandra and Jay were so happy to get married.  They always had a smile on their faces.  I was so sure that Ken & Lori were going to be crying and then of coarse you know what would happen to me.  But, they said watching how happy Jay & Sandra were just made them happy.  I told you.  Super sweet people.

IMG_3072.jpg
Gorgeous.

IMG_3078.jpgI wanted to get a shot of the containers for the sand ceremony.  If you have been in the Chapel on the RCMP grounds, you know how dark it is in there and how warm it can get.  But its truly beautiful.  The back doors were left open to create a breeze and I love the flare in this image with Jay and Sandra praying in the background.

IMG_3103.jpg
Happy!

IMG_3109.jpg
The Kiss!

IMG_3183.jpgMr & Mrs Malbeuf, happily rushing down the aisle.

IMG_3240.jpg
The bubbles send off.

IMG_3337.jpgI am a sucker for a father daughter photo.  It just makes me miss my dad even more.
IMG_3358.jpgThe amazing wedding party.  Thanks to everyone for being so helpful.

IMG_3366.jpgThis next shot I have put in for a reason.  Anyone that knows Sandra, knows that she is terrified of birds.  It seems they realize that and always make an appearance.  They did for her engagement photos and now again on her wedding day.  She didn't know this seagull was swooping down till after the shot, lol.
IMG_3381.jpg

IMG_3421-copy.jpgHow cute are these two?  Seriously.

IMG_3441.jpg
Next, the girls, in all their fabulousness!!

IMG_3532.jpgAnd next a little ZZ Top.  She's got legs....and she knows how to use them.

IMG_3510.jpg
IMG_3552.jpgAnd now the guys.

IMG_3594.jpg
Another shot of the wedding party.

IMG_3642.jpg

IMG_3660.jpg
Mr & Mrs Fabulous.

IMG_3702.jpg
IMG_3672.jpg
Soooo pretty.

IMG_3691.jpg
Soooo pretty X 2!!

IMG_3732.jpgThese next few images are of the younger members of the bridal party.  The looked so good and were the best behaved kids.  We almost forgot that they were there.  Almost, lol.

IMG_3735.jpg
IMG_3793.jpgThis last shot is of the bridal party and their very sweet rides.  Thanks again for being so great to work with everyone!  A special thanks to the men for lugging my things around and helping me get up some hills that I wouldn't have done without them.  Not in heals anyway, lol.

I have been waiting since last fall to shoot this wedding after I met Dustin & Ashley at their engagement session.  I knew some of their family members already so I knew it would be a great wedding.  I was right.  The day started out at the Frick farm where the girls got ready.  Then off to Melville for the ceremony and then finally off to Grayson for the best wedding reception ever.  The Kuntz family, along with what seems to be the whole town of Grayson, is very musical & very talented.  Dustin himself has played in a couple of rock bands.  So, this wedding reception was ot going to be like any other.  That was made clear the second you walked in.  Their MC, aka Uncle Paul, made sure of that.  It was a shock to everyone, including the newly married couple.  Paul was like an act in Vegas.  He could definitely give Letterman a run for his money.  He definitely missed his calling in life.  Anyway, the entire wedding day was an absolute blast.  Thanks again Dustin & Ashley for allowing me to come along for the ride.  Its going to be so tough to decide which images to post for your blog.  Here are just a few.
IMG_9037.jpg'Flowers on Main' in Melville did such a great job of Ashley's flowers.  They were so bright, fresh & had a real country feel to them.  They set the tone for the whole day & just made me smile.
IMG_9041.jpgI am having a hard time selecting which ring shot to post so I am going to post a bunch.  Sorry :)
IMG_9050.jpgYou might have a hard time figuring out this next shot.  Well, its the rings in front of this fabulous putter that Ashley bought Dustin as a wedding gift.  I just had to incorporate it some where in the photos for him.
IMG_9064.jpgThis next image is Dustin's gift to Ashley.  A beautiful diamond necklace to go with her earrings.  You are a lucky girl!
IMG_9103.jpgBefore Ashley's mom & dad got married, Grace went to Paris (if I am remembering the story correctly) & she brought home this beautiful lace garter to wear for her own weddng.  She didn't toss it however and saved it for her own daughter to wear & that's exactly what Ashley did, along with the pearls that her dad gave her mom on their wedding day.  Such meaningful gestures.
IMG_9113.jpgYou know I love a good shoe shot!
IMG_9025.jpgBridesmaids gettin gorgeous!!!
IMG_9095.jpgAshley definitely looked stunning in her Enzoani Gown from "Blue" in Saskatoon.

IMG_9166.jpgA couple of last shots with Mom & Dad before their daughter became a married woman.  I think mom was definitely holding back the tears.
IMG_9177.jpg
IMG_9188.jpgOkay, I am totally in love with these next three images.  I love "real" moments & I love the look in Ashley & Dustin's eyes when they see each other for the first time.  I also love the look Dustin has right before he kisses her.  I love to capture those great moments!!

Now on to the bride & groom.  There really were so many to pick from that I know I won't be able to decide so you will just have to look at them all.

IMG_0037.jpgA few more shots of the guys rockin it out on the Route 605 Bus.  A very sweet ride, I must say.
IMG_0097.jpg
IMG_0059.jpgNow to wrap up with a few shots from the reception.  Again, too many to choose from so here's just a few.
IMG_0202.jpgThe MC (aka Uncle Paul).  This guy is so incredibly talented and was on fire!
IMG_0286.jpgWhen they pulled out an electric guitar & amp and said that the only way to make the bride & groom kiss was to sing & play a rock song, well I thought they would never kiss.  Boy was I wrong.  Like I said, the town is filled with amazing talent.  Here's a couple of images of them rockin it out!!
IMG_0325.jpgNext it was the grooms turn to rock it out to the bride, which I believe scored them some ACDC tickets.  Hey, no one asked me to sing for some ACDC tickets.  I would have tried.  Oh yeah, that might have emptied the reception hall in a hurry.  Oh well, lol.
IMG_0524.jpgAnd finally one last image from the reception.  I absolutely love the expressions on their faces.

Last weekend I had the true pleasure of meeting this super sweet couple as well as their families and friends.  This truly was a wonderful wedding.  The bride was very much into details and the whole wedding was fuscia and black.  Yet it amazed me how someone could be so organized and yet so laid back.  When things didn't go exactly to plan, they just changed the plan.  No problem. When the flower girl broke her leg not long before the wedding, of coarse it was sad but oh well we will just carry her around and use a wheel chair down the aisle.  No problem.  When the flowers got forgotten at the house and it was time for the ceremony, everyone just patiently waited for dad to run home and get them.  No problem.  Honestly they were such a great bunch. And even now, they have been patiently waiting for me to get their blog done with not a complaint.  No problem.  Like I said, super people.  So in this post you will see that the bride and groom were together in their home in the morning.  He just was not allowed to see the dress before hand.  You will see their adorable nieces.  One that finally learned to not be afraid of the family dog and one that I think was a bit happy to be carried around with her bad leg because then the dog couldn't get near her.  You will see some surprise ring photos, just for the groom who is a huge basketball fan.  And along with some stunning portraits, you will see a few just for fun.  I hope that you all enjoy this post as much as I enjoyed shooting it :)

Okay, I have a lot of photos to post from this weekends wedding with Kari and Tim but they will have to wait until tomorrow.  However, I just can't go to sleep tonight without posting one or two of my favorite photos of them.  Kari had so much style and the most amazing skin and Tim was a pretty handsome devil as well.  To sum it up, they were absolutely gorgeous.  Take a look at these images and I am sure you will agree!!

I love them all, Sharon. Thanks for doing such a wonderful, professional job! I agree with Tatum, the photos with the water & clouds behind the bridal party - absolutely stunning, beautiful. I'm a little biased, of course, but I still think they're perfect. How do you feel about a trip to Jamaica for the next daughter's wedding? Thanks again.
