(09.03.10 @ 09:38 PM)Last
fall I had the extreme pleasure of shooting the wedding of Mandy and
Dave Kozak. They were the most wonderful Bride and Groom and I love every time I run into them. Their wedding has recently been shared on the Wedding Bells
website. How exciting. Its entitled "Family Ties". Take a look.
http://www.weddingbells.ca
Here's a selection of images from their day.
I know you have an extremely happy future a head of you. :)
these turned out absolutley beautiful. It was a wonderful day and it was captured perfectly in the pictures. Can't wait to see the rest. Awesome.
(06.15.10 @ 10:50 PM)Sharon you did an awesome job, thankyou.
The pictures say it all, the day, the bride and groom, it was all perfect!!!!
These are amazing Sharon, cant wait to see the rest!
(06.23.10 @ 12:50 PM)Enjoy your images!
With the wedding being held one week before Christmas, could you think of a better place to do the ring shots?
More beautiful bouquets from Jane and Kristin and Flowers on Main in Melville. They always do the most beautiful work!!

These pearls belong to Grama Lutz. She wore them to her own wedding, then the brides mother wore them when she got married and now passed them down to Whitney. I love special traditions.

This is the first image that shows what a hockey family this is. This image is especially for the brides father and brother....The biggest Detroit fans I know!
Another special keepsake. This ring box was made by Grama Lutz for for the brides mother Leanne. I thought it would be a great place for another ring shot.
As happy an occasion as this was, it was also a little bitter sweet as Grampa Clarence was not there to share in it. This is Grampa's ring which you will see tied into the brides dress later on. Clarence was such a wonderful guy and the life of the party. I know that he was there, watching out over his very special Grand daughter.
Getting ready! Thank goodness for great friends like Morgan Cyca. She did all of the hair and the brides nails for the wedding. Awesome job Morgan!
The makeup was done by Chris Miller from Mary Kay in Regina. What a nice treat to have someone come to the home to do makeup for everyone. I love when that happens. If you are looking for a great makeup artist, make sure you check her out!
OMG Whitney. You are gorgeous!
I was not surprised to see this lying around. Whitney is one of the most organized people I know. She comes by it honestly as her mom IS the most organized person I know, lol.
Jeremy sent a very lovely letter for Whitney to read as she was getting ready. It was a tough job to keep those tears at bay and not ruin the lovely makeup.
A special something blue from Grama Lutz.
Whitney's dress was so beautiful and it was from Tracey's on Broadway in Yorkton. Talk about extra special service.....Tracey came out to lace up all of the girls dresses.
Beautiful bride in her beautiful pink striped socks, lol? Hey, in Saskatchewan you need to prepare yourself for a winter wedding!!
Grama Lutz passing down the pearls.
On the way to the church. The girls were nice and warm in their fur trimmed capes.
Right before we left for the church, we took 5 minutes to snap this photo. This special play house was Grama Lutz's when she was a little girl. A special request of the bride.
The guys!!! Everyone is ready to go!
A quick huddle and now we are really ready to go, lol!
First time seeing the bride. Wow!
Here comes the bride.
Giving the bride away.
The ceremony was held in the Lutheran Church in Lemberg. Its so pretty and has great light. I love all of the white!!
The bride and her sister are both singers. Shelby sang a special song just for Whitney and Jeremy.

Happy tears!
A special surprise from Minister and friend PK. The groom is a huge Toronto fan, so right before "The Kiss" PK changed into something special just for Jeremy, lol.
Happy!
One quick group shot before we head to the studio for more photos.
After the wedding it was back to the studio, but first, about 15 minutes for some quick outdoor shots while there was still a bit of light.

A quick fun shot before we head to the hall. Aren't these hats a great idea from groomsman gifts? Hmmm....with all those different teams, how do they all get along, lol.
Their big entrance to the reception!
The first dance.
And to end this post, a special moment caught between husband and wife. I love those moments. All the best to you Whitney and Jeremy in your new married life together. I know you will be oh so happy!!!!Awesome we especially enjoyed the hockey ones..........imagine that..
(12.29.09 @ 09:44 PM)WOW!! Amazing photos. The outdoor shots with the hoar frost are unbelievable.
(12.30.09 @ 02:24 PM)Just wanted you to know that I LOVE the outdoor photos, so romantic!
Oh Sharon you do such outstanding work! I catch myself smiling, shedding a tear and being left feeling like I was actually there! Well done and Congrats Whitney & Jeremy.
(01.04.10 @ 04:34 PM)
I LOVE the sun flare, feet, and dip pix! Awesome Sharon :).
(10.28.09 @ 10:14 PM)Love this wedding Sharon...gorgeous work. I really love your detail shots (as always)...the rings in the mirrors - very creative! You rock.
(11.01.09 @ 04:15 PM)Those are some awesome pics you took at my friends wedding.
(11.02.09 @ 10:47 PM)Thanks again for the great photos! I can't quit talking about how awesome of a photographer you are. :)
(11.19.09 @ 12:33 PM)
Sharon- it was so nice to meet you this weekend! What a crazy day it was hey? Keep in touch.....
(10.27.09 @ 12:21 AM)
I'm in love with this picture. It makes you want to believe in happy endings. Great job!
(10.15.09 @ 02:28 AM)
I found this gem of a cross stitch hidden away at the brides parents home. Doug was nice enough to hang it for me just where I wanted it. Can you believe that? Awesome people.
For these detail shots we pulled out some family heirlooms. Grama's tea cups and grampas passport that was so cool.
The garters on the family piano that Kelsey spent many years practicing on.
Kelsey's Christening Gown.
Again the most amazing bouquets from Jane and Kristin at Flowers on Main in Melville. They always do the most amazing work and I absolutely loved these Hydrangeas and White Roses. So beautiful!

Love the brides shoes on Grama's special chair.
Something old. Grama's family ring tied to the bouquet.
Okay I know there are quite a few bridal shots here but are you kidding me, she's so amazingly beautiful.

The very happy groom.
I love the look on Kelsey's face. So happy.
Mr & Mrs!!
Going for a little vintage yet modern feel. Love it.
Are you kidding me.

Love these next shots!! Adorable.

The rain stopped and the sun came out for literally 10 minutes and we were able to capture these few shots. Love the Abbey Road shot. Great work guys!!

Now on to the reception!! Here's a couple of shots.

Hi, I know both these (kids) young adults, and you did an absolutely awesome job on these pictures. But then you always do. I really applaud your talent.

(08.17.09 @ 10:41 PM)Sharon - these are BEAUTIFUL!!! I can hardly wait to see the rest. Thank you for being part of our special day! Sooooo glad you pinned on boutinieres and helped the boys with their hankies & cuff links when the M.O.B. was too shaky.
(08.18.09 @ 09:23 AM)I am still in awe with these photos you took at our wedding!!!!! Thank you, Sharon :) I can't wait to see the rest!!!!
(09.01.09 @ 10:10 AM)
The last shot of the day goes to this little rocker because he worked so hard all night he deserves his few minutes of fame. I don't think he missed a song. He really looked like part of the band. I also wanted to send out a thank you to Trevor & Linda Senyk for the use of their farm for photos. I have shot there in the past and LOVE it. Also a thank you to Ray & Coreen Malinoski for the use of their beautiful brick fence that was covered in Virginia Creeper. Thanks again everyone!!
Absolutely stunning photos! What a beautiful day it turned out to be and man did we have fun getting all those nice pictures taken. Thank you Sharon
(08.11.09 @ 10:37 AM)WOW !!!! What a beautiful job. I would not want to be Kristin and Scott deciding which pictures are their favorites
(08.12.09 @ 08:32 AM)Looks like a fun wedding! Love the fun shots!!
(08.12.09 @ 08:43 AM)We are so happy for Scott & Kristen, and very glad that the sun shone upon their wedding day! It was our pleasure to have the whole gang out here for some of their pictures. We have been singing our praises to everyone we know!!! I'm so glad we did the pics first, the whole experience took all my nerves away so that when we walked down the aisle it was just all about us and not quite as scary. thank you sooooo much!
(08.30.09 @ 12:20 PM)Kristen & Scott you guys make such a great couple
and kristen you look so beautiful hope you guys have a gooder!!!
Gettin ready. Wow, how pretty is she and they were just starting makeup!?!
Cindy & one of her bridesmaids. Can you say gorgeous?!!!

The beautiful bride getting into her dress.

The men just before the ceremony. What a good looking bunch!
Okay this next shot is just for fun. Its obvious my photoshoping skills are not good enough for me to work for the National Enquirer but I thought I'd whip up something a little cute for the groom. It seems he was a big "Backstreet Boys" fan back in the day. Actually I think he still is because as he entered the church, he walked in to one of their songs. So here's a little something just for you Tyler. You definitely had the Backstreet Boys watching out for you on your wedding day, lol.
I think Tyler was stunned to see Cindy when she walked in.
Don't you just love the looks on their faces as the ceremony begins.

Okay for this next shot maybe you parents want to look away. Tyler decided to have a little fun. I teased them that I would put it on the blog and they said "DO IT"!! So hear it is. You guys are so darn cute.

Love the Spiderman kiss!!!
Are you kidding me? How gorgeous are these two?
The fabulous wedding party!!

Last two shots are of the gorgeous couple. You guys really did look amazing and did a fantastic job.
Wow!!!!! Nice stuff Sharon! You added to a great looking couple making the end result freakin fabulous!
(08.06.09 @ 08:30 PM)These are amazing pictures Sharon... love the colors and the last shot really says it all

(08.07.09 @ 09:55 AM)Sharon, these all look fabulous. Rod and I laughed at Tyler under Cindy's dress, way too funny! Sharon, you did a great job!
(08.07.09 @ 10:58 AM)Awesome job Sharon! Best lookin couple I've ever seen! The wedding party isn't too shabby either. Great ideas, it was worth the hours waiting, lol
Amazing--love every one of these--some brought tears again. Can hardly wait to see the rest. The colors are great
(08.09.09 @ 01:24 AM)
This first shot is of Sandra's beautiful dress. It's extra amazing as the seamstress had to take it in "10 inches"!! I don't know how she did it but Sandra lost quite a bit of weight before her wedding day. She was gorgeous before that and still gorgeous afterwards. In the front of the dress is a red bench built by Sandra's dad. Every time I have been to their place, there was always a new pile of lumber and another project on the go. He's super talented. I will be emailing you soon Ken to put in my order.
The bride enjoying some pampering! She always has the sweetest smile on her face.
Here are a few different ring shots. Couldn't make up my mind so I am posting quite a few.
This was the lid for the bottle that
they were using for their sand ceremony. I thought it had such a cool
shape. Looks like one of those "crazy hat" shaped cakes.
Thanks to bridesmaid "Janelle" for being the steady hand that helped out with this shot. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've worked with Janelle and you can always count on her to lend a helping hand.
I hung Sandra's earrings and bracelet on this beautiful antique piece that I found in the china cabinet. It belonged to Sandra's Grama. I thought it had such a great vintage feel to it and I always love to incorporate meaningful things into the images.
Sandra and her girls had the greatest shoes. All coordinating. You know I love a great shoe shot.
I was teasing the little flower girl that she had a "pussy cat smile". Isn't she just adorable. She is going to be so beautiful when she is older. Seriously, look at those eyes and the Angelina Jolie lips. Gorgeous. Sandra was actually the flower girl for this little one's mom and dad, so the tradition continues.
Sandra and Jay were so happy to get married. They always had a smile on their faces. I was so sure that Ken & Lori were going to be crying and then of coarse you know what would happen to me. But, they said watching how happy Jay & Sandra were just made them happy. I told you. Super sweet people.
I wanted to get a shot of the containers for the sand ceremony. If you have been in the Chapel on the RCMP grounds, you know how dark it is in there and how warm it can get. But its truly beautiful. The back doors were left open to create a breeze and I love the flare in this image with Jay and Sandra praying in the background.

Mr & Mrs Malbeuf, happily rushing down the aisle.
I am a sucker for a father daughter photo. It just makes me miss my dad even more.
The amazing wedding party. Thanks to everyone for being so helpful.
This next shot I have put in for a reason. Anyone that knows Sandra, knows that she is terrified of birds. It seems they realize that and always make an appearance. They did for her engagement photos and now again on her wedding day. She didn't know this seagull was swooping down till after the shot, lol.
How cute are these two? Seriously.
And next a little ZZ Top. She's got legs....and she knows how to use them.
And now the guys.

These next few images are of the younger members of the bridal party. The looked so good and were the best behaved kids. We almost forgot that they were there. Almost, lol.
This last shot is of the bridal party and their very sweet rides. Thanks again for being so great to work with everyone! A special thanks to the men for lugging my things around and helping me get up some hills that I wouldn't have done without them. Not in heals anyway, lol.
'Flowers on Main' in Melville did such a great job of Ashley's flowers. They were so bright, fresh & had a real country feel to them. They set the tone for the whole day & just made me smile.
I am having a hard time selecting which ring shot to post so I am going to post a bunch. Sorry :)
You might have a hard time figuring out this next shot. Well, its the rings in front of this fabulous putter that Ashley bought Dustin as a wedding gift. I just had to incorporate it some where in the photos for him.
This next image is Dustin's gift to Ashley. A beautiful diamond necklace to go with her earrings. You are a lucky girl!
Before Ashley's mom & dad got married, Grace went to Paris (if I am remembering the story correctly) & she brought home this beautiful lace garter to wear for her own weddng. She didn't toss it however and saved it for her own daughter to wear & that's exactly what Ashley did, along with the pearls that her dad gave her mom on their wedding day. Such meaningful gestures.
You know I love a good shoe shot!
Bridesmaids gettin gorgeous!!!
Ashley definitely looked stunning in her Enzoani Gown from "Blue" in Saskatoon.
A couple of last shots with Mom & Dad before their daughter became a married woman. I think mom was definitely holding back the tears.
Okay, I am totally in love with these next three images. I love "real" moments & I love the look in Ashley & Dustin's eyes when they see each other for the first time. I also love the look Dustin has right before he kisses her. I love to capture those great moments!!

A few more shots of the guys rockin it out on the Route 605 Bus. A very sweet ride, I must say.
Now to wrap up with a few shots from the reception. Again, too many to choose from so here's just a few.
The MC (aka Uncle Paul). This guy is so incredibly talented and was on fire!
When they pulled out an electric guitar & amp and said that the only way to make the bride & groom kiss was to sing & play a rock song, well I thought they would never kiss. Boy was I wrong. Like I said, the town is filled with amazing talent. Here's a couple of images of them rockin it out!!
Next it was the grooms turn to rock it out to the bride, which I believe scored them some ACDC tickets. Hey, no one asked me to sing for some ACDC tickets. I would have tried. Oh yeah, that might have emptied the reception hall in a hurry. Oh well, lol.
And finally one last image from the reception. I absolutely love the expressions on their faces.
Wow!!!! Love the flowers!
(07.31.09 @ 10:11 PM)Sharon, these are amazing photos!!!!!!! I LOVE them all. Can't wait to see you in a couple weeks!! :)
(07.31.09 @ 10:13 PM)

Beautiful again Sharon. Nice detail pic of the rings, and the ones with the lake are stunning!
(06.22.09 @ 01:51 PM)Beautiful pictures Sharon! I love them and I cant wait to see the rest.
(06.26.09 @ 04:31 PM)Only some of them were really wacky (right Melissa!!)
(06.26.09 @ 06:04 PM)I love them all, Sharon. Thanks for doing such a wonderful, professional job! I agree with Tatum, the photos with the water & clouds behind the bridal party - absolutely stunning, beautiful. I'm a little biased, of course, but I still think they're perfect. How do you feel about a trip to Jamaica for the next daughter's wedding? Thanks again.
(06.26.09 @ 09:42 PM)

I do not personally know this couple; however, I can't help but comment on this and I just have to say ..... the bride's gown is the most beautiful dress I HAVE EVER SEEN and she looks absolutely stunning in it !!! You did an awesome photography job once again, Sharon, in high-lighting all the beautiful aspects of it and their day !! Bravo to you !
(09.02.10 @ 10:50 PM)I first want to thank Val for such a sweet and sincere compliment. As well, I want to take the time to publicly reiterate what I have said again and again via email and phone...Thank you Sharon for being the best photographer a bride could ask for. I have to agree with Jill, one of your previous brides, that stated you are more than a photographer. You were so helpful and made our time before and after the ceremony so much fun. I am soo overjoyed at the pictures and can't wait to see them all. I wish you nothing but good things.
(09.03.10 @ 10:29 PM)While I was not at Candace's wedding, our mother's have been close friends forever, and I was forwarded the link to this album, because I desperately wanted to see how beautiful she must have looked on her special day. Well, Candace - you were absolutely breathtaking my dear. I loved your dress - I know that maggie sotero dress well, my best friend almost bought it for her wedding. The photos that were taken are so classic, you look very happy and in love. COngrats and great pics!
