Well I don't know about the rest of you, but I have had about enough of the thunder, lightning, rain and power outages!  I don't think I have ever seen this much rain since I moved to the prairies back in 1981.  Wow, am I getting old....or sounding old, lol.  Anyway, tonight, in between rain showers, I got to shoot grad photos for my nephew Matt.  I can't believe he's graduating already.  It seems like just yesterday he was just a little gaffer that always had a wet mark on his t-shirts cause he would chew on the collar, lol.  Sorry Matt, but that's what I remember and I have a lot of photos of you like that.  Thankfully it stopped raining for a bit so we could get your pix done tonight and you showed up in a very styling tux.....without the chewed on collar, ha ha.
Matt had my lovely neighbor Trisha as his escort and she's always up for a photo shoot.  They are both so photogenique that it made my job pretty easy.  Congrats on your graduation Matt.  Your whole family is very proud of you.  Hugs. :)

Well you are bound to see lots of umbrella's in this session as it seems these days we can't have a day without rain.  But this family totally rolled with the punches. Even when it started to absolutely pour during the family photo.  Solution, just grab some umbrellas and keep on going, lol.  It was great.  It was so much fun to shoot these photos as well since I have known these two since they were pretty little.  I knew they would be "styling" as they always are and they did not disappoint that's for sure.  So anyway, there's a real mish mosh of shots here, including some goofy candids, but I just couldn't help myself.  Thanks again Leniczek family for being so great to work with.  Have a wonderful graduation!!  Here's just a small sample from today's session.  Hope you enjoy it!

Today I had the great pleasure of shooting my neighbor Jenna's grad photos.  She's always been such a great kid and its hard to believe that she's all grown up already.  I knew she would want outdoor photos and of coarse it poured all day.  But, for just over an hour the rain stopped and the sun came out.  Just long enough to get her photos done.  Thank goodness. Anyway, thanks again Jenna for putting up with being dragged around and bitten by mosquitos.  You looked so beautiful in all of your photos, even though my fav's are definitely at the dug out. Congrats on your graduation.  I know you will do great at what ever you attempt in the future.

The other night Garett and his family drove out from Melville for his grad photos. I have known this family for a while now. I did grad photos for his older sister a few years ago and my son Hayden played on Garett's line in hockey last year. Hayden would always come home with stories of "Garett & Rhys". Sometimes they were quite the stories. Anyway, Garett is a pretty talented young man and won some pretty serious awards Provincially and Nationally for his welding skills so we included a bit of his work in the photos. Here's a few of your images Garett. You know that we wish you the very best in your future.

Well I don't know about everyone else, but I am awfully tired of this wind.  I know, I live in Saskatchewan so I should be used to it, but I'm not.  Thankfully, this family pushed their session back to 7pm last night which definitely helped.  Soon the wind died down and we were able to get the shots we wanted.  Thanks everyone for making the drive out from Yorkton and Regina and thanks for putting up with the long walk to my special car. Of coarse a special thanks to Tiffany for lugging around the big beautiful dress in the grass and rocking her shots.  Here's a few images. I hope you enjoy them.
