Tonight I had the great pleasure of doing grad and family photos for friends I have known for many years.  I was very honored that they chose to drive from Yorkton to come see me for photos.  Sandra did such a great job choosing outfits for everyone. Pay attention people, Coral and white are fabulous colors against the green grass.  Anyway, thanks again guys for making the trip out and for being so incredibly photogenigue!!

I am extremely happy that I got to shoot the grad photos of this lovely young girl.  Really happy, as she was involved in a horrible car wreck just weeks ago and she is very lucky to be here.  She brought a few of her best girl friends and some of her family members who were all awesome.  Dad was incredibly sweet and sure loves his daughter.  Thanks again Sonia.  Best wishes for everything that life brings your way!

Well if you follow my blog at all you will see this girls grad casuals about a week or so ago in a pretty yellow dress (that she made herself) and her beautiful horses.  I had such a good time with her that evening, I couldn't wait for her to come for her formals.  She's so easy going and ready to go anywhere to get the shots that we want.  Thanks for coming to my place this time Sarah.  I know I was much easier on you here than you were on me going up and down the hills at your place, lol.  Here's a few images.  Hope you like them :)  All the best to you in your future endeavors.

The other day Alesha and her family came over for some Grad photos.  As I mentioned in my last post, I have worked with her little sister quite a few times, but never Alesha.  Well, maybe it is a family thing.  Probably coming from her mom, right Lynn Ann, wink wink.  Anyway, she looked lovely and did a great job.  Congratulations Alesha and all the best in your future endeavors.  Here's just a few shots from the day.

Well, I have known this next young man since he was just a little guy.  Even back then he had those goalie moves.  Probably from having all those older siblings shooting on him, lol.  It seems so strange each year to see these young adults come for their photos when I still think of them as little ones.  Jared's definitely all grown up and looking like his dad I might add :)  Best of luck in everything you do Jared.  Here are just a few images from the other morning.

Monday was Grad Day for the kids at Melville Comprehensive so my day was booked solid again.  It was such a great day.  The weather was decent and I had such great kids to work with all day.  Everyone was so laid back and pretty much willing to go where ever I wanted them to.  Some of them, not mentioning names "Nolan", were also my assistant and did some second shooting, lol.  I also had another young man "from the north" that was a pretty good assistant.  I found out afterwards that it was because he is a photographer.  Thanks for your help as well Nanook, lol.  So anyway, to sum it up it was a great day with super kids and awesome families.  The boys were so handsome and the girls were absolutely gorgeous.  I really am so lucky to do what I do for a living.  Thanks everyone.  Here's a selection of images from the day.  Best of luck to you all in your future endeavors!!

Today I traveled out to Cowesses to shoot the Grad photos of 5 lovely young ladies.  So lovely, that one of the escorts (not mentioning any names "Anthony", lol) figured they were Cowessess' Next Top Models.  Hence the name of this blog posting. I thought it was pretty darn cute.  Anyway, these girls all did a really good job of posing and I figured it was probably because they got to work with my friend Tatum at Papermoon Photography for their casual photos.  I think Tatum got them all prepped for formals.  Great job Tatum :)  Anyway, these girls battled the heat, wind and bugs and still came up with some nice shots.  Thanks again girls and all the best in your futures.

The other day I met up with Sarah and Justin at her place just on top of Pearl Creek.  I had never been there before.  Man, its truly God's country down in that coulee.  It was such a great place to shoot other than the fact that I had to walk all the way down and back up again and foolishly arrived in flip flops.  Not the smartest thing I have ever done that's for sure.  But I plugged along and got every shot that we wanted.  Even the horses cooperated.  However, the one dog decided he was going to be a bit annoying and try to get in every shot.  I swear he has selective hearing, lol.  Anyway, like I said we got what we wanted and I have finally quit hurting after the big walk back up the valley hill, lol.  Enjoy.

The other day, after a bit of juggling due to the weather (as usual) The Onrait's made their way to my place just in case we were forced to shoot inside due to the impending rain.  But the God's were on our side that day and we were able to get everything done outdoors.  It actually turned out to be a really nice evening.  So here are a few Graduation shots of Brianna and her very "tough" escort Andy, lol.  (Inside joke, right Andy?)  She's such a lovely girl and did a great job.
Best of luck to you next year Brianna!
