For any of you couples that are coming to me for engagement and then Wedding Photos, here's an idea for you.  Create a "Save the Date" card with one of your Engagement Photos.  If this is something you are interested in, just drop me a line and I can price them out for you depending on size, quantity, design, etc.  Here's an example of a pretty straight forward "Save the Date" card.

Allysen and Jarred made the trek out from Regina this evening for the engagement photos.  I met them back in the spring when they booked their wedding with me and I have been excited to shoot their photos ever since.  They are so sweet and genuine, so I knew that we would have a good time and I was right.  They did absolutely everything I asked of them, even in 3 inch heels (that was Allysen if you hadn't guessed, lol) and with the mosquito's constantly on the attack.  And did I mention those 3 inch heels were a fabulous purple!!!  Gosh I love a pretty shoe. Anyway, I took them to another new location that I scouted out this afternoon and it was definitely unique.  Again, you gotta love a girl that tramps through grass up to her waist in a pasture that was previously inhabited by some four legged creatures that go "moo" and tend to leave some things behind.  She never missed a beat.  Of coarse she had Jarred guiding her around and me for that matter too as I almost got my precious car hung up in a rut.  Yikes. Thanks Jarred.  Well, it was all worth it as you will see.  Thanks again you guys for doing such an awesome job.  I look forward to seeing you at that wedding next weekend and then again next year for your own.

Thanks, Sharon, for making this experience for the kids a very memorable occasion. It is great to see them so happy (nice smiles) and having fun. See guys, it doesn't hurt to have your picture taken. You capture how much Jarred and Allysen mean to each other. Thanks again

This afternoon Chris and Rita made the drive from Broadview carrying some pretty special cargo in the back of their truck.  Harley....and she was a sweet ride.  Chris obviously has two loves.  Rita and Harley, lol.  But Rita definitely comes first.  Well, we all had a great time today shooting in a nice new location I scouted out earlier in the day.  They both did a fantastic job.  They were willing to go where ever I suggested but I have to give special prop's to Chris for being the big tough guy we needed at times.  He helped us in and out of locations that we couldn't manage on our own.  Rita because she's tiny.  Me, well because, let's just say it....I'm old, lol. He also had to move that bike around which I didn't think would be a big deal but apparently Harley's don't have reverse.  Really, why wouldn't they have reverse.  Some photographer might want them to be moved over just a foot or two and backed up a hill, lol.  Really.  And on top of it he was tipping old trucks.  Is that something like cow tipping, lol.  Anyway, he did a great job so thanks again and enjoy this selection of images.
