Recently sent in a submission to the Professional Photographers of Canada for judging.  The category was "Wedding Environmental" which basically is outdoor wedding photography.  Nothing shot inside is allowed in this category.  The judging was done in Moncton, New Brunswick last week and I am very proud to announce that I got accredited on my first shot!!  Its very important for photographers to be accredited members of their association.  There is a lot more to the life of a Photographer than most people realize.  Its been a lot of hard work over the years and I am definitely proud of my accomplishments.  I would also like to send a special thank you to my PPOC sponsor, Carina Lamarche of Details Photography, who is always there for me when I need assistance.  Thank you Carina for all you do for me and for other photographers in the PPOC.

This past weekend I had the great pleasure of shooting Breanna and Cole's wedding in Regina.  I met them last year when they booked and then again when we did their engagement photos in the winter.  I liked them right away.  They were just so darn cute and so easy to get along with.  They had a beautiful fall day for their wedding.  A little bit cool at times but everyone in the Bridal Party and in the family toughed it out and made the images look like they were warm and toasty. Breanna and Cole were just as beautiful on the outside as they are in the inside.  Here are just a few images from their wonderful day.  PS:  Breanna has the record for the largest most beautiful bouquet ever :)

Well I know I say this all the time but I have to be the luckiest person in the world to have such amazing clients every weekend.  I couldn't wait to shoot Bob and Pam's engagement photos when I met them and when I did I was more excited to shoot their wedding.  They are the sweetest couple that everyone should strive to be like.  I feel like along with gaining wonderful new clients, I have made wonderful new friends.  They had a beautiful fall day for their wedding which is just what they deserved.  I love the light in their images and the beautiful colors.  It just added to how wonderful they looked.  I love your images guys and I hope you do too.  Thanks for being so great to work with.  I know you will have a beautiful future together....just as you deserve.

Please forgive me for being a bit behind in my blogging lately.  Life has been crazy and I have been busy shooting, editing, driving to football, driving to hockey and trying to get ready for a couple of upcoming Trade Shows.  If you are in the area Balgonie has their annual trade show this Sunday at the Community Hall and I will have a booth there.  Now on to Robin and Kirks wedding.  I couldn't wait to shoot this wedding from the very first time I met Robin and Kirk.  I knew after meeting them that their wedding would be totally unique and totally them.  I was not wrong.  If you know them at all you know what a wonderful couple they are and how much family means to them.  I got that feeling from our very first meeting because they were always concerned with how things were done for their guests.  Last Saturday all of their wonderful planning came together with a beautiful morning ceremony and afternoon reception at the Hotel Sask with entertainment provided by the incredible Jack Semple.  Here are just a few of my favorite images from the day.  There attention to all the little details was simply perfect.

This summer I shot the wedding of Vince and Christy Mercer.  While there, they asked me if we could possibly make time to go and see Christy's Grand Mother in the Care Home and get some photos.  Of coarse I agreed.  All of the residents enjoyed seeing a Bride and Groom walk in, especially Christy's Grama.  We had a great little visit and got some nice photos.  She was an absolute sweetheart.  When Christy got her photos back she thank me so much, especially for those ones of her Grama as she recently passed away.  Another reminder of how important it is to have photos to help us remember our very special loved ones.  Here are a few shots from that day :)
