This first shot is of Sandra's beautiful dress. It's extra amazing as the seamstress had to take it in "10 inches"!! I don't know how she did it but Sandra lost quite a bit of weight before her wedding day. She was gorgeous before that and still gorgeous afterwards. In the front of the dress is a red bench built by Sandra's dad. Every time I have been to their place, there was always a new pile of lumber and another project on the go. He's super talented. I will be emailing you soon Ken to put in my order.
The bride enjoying some pampering! She always has the sweetest smile on her face.
Here are a few different ring shots. Couldn't make up my mind so I am posting quite a few.
This was the lid for the bottle that
they were using for their sand ceremony. I thought it had such a cool
shape. Looks like one of those "crazy hat" shaped cakes.
Thanks to bridesmaid "Janelle" for being the steady hand that helped out with this shot. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've worked with Janelle and you can always count on her to lend a helping hand.
I hung Sandra's earrings and bracelet on this beautiful antique piece that I found in the china cabinet. It belonged to Sandra's Grama. I thought it had such a great vintage feel to it and I always love to incorporate meaningful things into the images.
Sandra and her girls had the greatest shoes. All coordinating. You know I love a great shoe shot.
I was teasing the little flower girl that she had a "pussy cat smile". Isn't she just adorable. She is going to be so beautiful when she is older. Seriously, look at those eyes and the Angelina Jolie lips. Gorgeous. Sandra was actually the flower girl for this little one's mom and dad, so the tradition continues.
Sandra and Jay were so happy to get married. They always had a smile on their faces. I was so sure that Ken & Lori were going to be crying and then of coarse you know what would happen to me. But, they said watching how happy Jay & Sandra were just made them happy. I told you. Super sweet people.
I wanted to get a shot of the containers for the sand ceremony. If you have been in the Chapel on the RCMP grounds, you know how dark it is in there and how warm it can get. But its truly beautiful. The back doors were left open to create a breeze and I love the flare in this image with Jay and Sandra praying in the background.

Mr & Mrs Malbeuf, happily rushing down the aisle.
I am a sucker for a father daughter photo. It just makes me miss my dad even more.
The amazing wedding party. Thanks to everyone for being so helpful.
This next shot I have put in for a reason. Anyone that knows Sandra, knows that she is terrified of birds. It seems they realize that and always make an appearance. They did for her engagement photos and now again on her wedding day. She didn't know this seagull was swooping down till after the shot, lol.
How cute are these two? Seriously.
And next a little ZZ Top. She's got legs....and she knows how to use them.
And now the guys.

These next few images are of the younger members of the bridal party. The looked so good and were the best behaved kids. We almost forgot that they were there. Almost, lol.
This last shot is of the bridal party and their very sweet rides. Thanks again for being so great to work with everyone! A special thanks to the men for lugging my things around and helping me get up some hills that I wouldn't have done without them. Not in heals anyway, lol.
'Flowers on Main' in Melville did such a great job of Ashley's flowers. They were so bright, fresh & had a real country feel to them. They set the tone for the whole day & just made me smile.
I am having a hard time selecting which ring shot to post so I am going to post a bunch. Sorry :)
You might have a hard time figuring out this next shot. Well, its the rings in front of this fabulous putter that Ashley bought Dustin as a wedding gift. I just had to incorporate it some where in the photos for him.
This next image is Dustin's gift to Ashley. A beautiful diamond necklace to go with her earrings. You are a lucky girl!
Before Ashley's mom & dad got married, Grace went to Paris (if I am remembering the story correctly) & she brought home this beautiful lace garter to wear for her own weddng. She didn't toss it however and saved it for her own daughter to wear & that's exactly what Ashley did, along with the pearls that her dad gave her mom on their wedding day. Such meaningful gestures.
You know I love a good shoe shot!
Bridesmaids gettin gorgeous!!!
Ashley definitely looked stunning in her Enzoani Gown from "Blue" in Saskatoon.
A couple of last shots with Mom & Dad before their daughter became a married woman. I think mom was definitely holding back the tears.
Okay, I am totally in love with these next three images. I love "real" moments & I love the look in Ashley & Dustin's eyes when they see each other for the first time. I also love the look Dustin has right before he kisses her. I love to capture those great moments!!

A few more shots of the guys rockin it out on the Route 605 Bus. A very sweet ride, I must say.
Now to wrap up with a few shots from the reception. Again, too many to choose from so here's just a few.
The MC (aka Uncle Paul). This guy is so incredibly talented and was on fire!
When they pulled out an electric guitar & amp and said that the only way to make the bride & groom kiss was to sing & play a rock song, well I thought they would never kiss. Boy was I wrong. Like I said, the town is filled with amazing talent. Here's a couple of images of them rockin it out!!
Next it was the grooms turn to rock it out to the bride, which I believe scored them some ACDC tickets. Hey, no one asked me to sing for some ACDC tickets. I would have tried. Oh yeah, that might have emptied the reception hall in a hurry. Oh well, lol.
And finally one last image from the reception. I absolutely love the expressions on their faces.
Wow!!!! Love the flowers!
(07.31.09 @ 10:11 PM)Sharon, these are amazing photos!!!!!!! I LOVE them all. Can't wait to see you in a couple weeks!! :)

This was basically the only shot I asked her to try to get and she did. I think it was the first or second shot that she took. Good job Nik!
Niki captured this great candid shots of the guys as I was posing them.
And finally Niki caught this great silouette of the bride outside the reception hall. Again, great job Nik! You rock!
Thank you so much Sharon!! This is the coolest thing ever and some of my pictures didn't turn out as bad as I thought!

Their beautiful little girl Emily and the teeniest little tiara. It was so adorable.
Here was one of those touching moments. When Pam was in the middle of hair and makeup, flowers with a beautiful note arrived from Chad. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house.

I love those moments right after they are pronounced husband and wife. Introducing the happy family!
Can you say "fierce", lol? Right Pam? You were amazing!
And not to leave out the groom....Chad was lookin pretty darn handsome himself!
I'm not sure how to narrow down the rest of the images. We shot in some pretty cool locations including the canola field, some old barns and this amazing bridge. Oh well, I guess I will just include them all. Thanks again to everyone. You were a blast!

This next shot was the last one of the day and it was of the whole crew. The wedding party was lucky enough to have Kenny and his wife drive them around all day in their big motor home. Kenny was very helpful and a blast. Thanks so much. His wife, sorry I forgot your name, definitely classed up the joint by always drinking out of a wine glass....even if we were in the bush, lol. Again, much thanks to you all!

Sharon, these are incredible shots!!!!!!! Amazing work, as always!!!!! :)
